1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using LandedIQ, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
LandedIQ provides free HTS and Section 301 lookup tools, tariff-change alerts and a validation beta workspace for estimating duty, landed cost, margin and recommended selling price. Features, data coverage and availability may change during the beta period.
3. Estimates, not professional advice
LandedIQ provides informational estimates only. It is not a customs broker, law firm, tax adviser or government authority. Final HTS classification, origin determination, admissibility, exclusions, duty liability, taxes and regulatory compliance remain the responsibility of the importer of record and its qualified advisers.
4. User responsibilities
- Provide accurate product, origin, cost, shipment and pricing information.
- Review and confirm suggested HTS classifications before relying on a report.
- Verify unresolved rates, product scopes and exclusions with qualified customs professionals.
- Use the service only for lawful business purposes.
- Maintain the confidentiality of account credentials.
5. Plans, billing and cancellation
The free plan covers 2 shipments and 25 SKUs and requires no payment method. The paid subscription is $29 per month, billed monthly in advance through Stripe, Inc., and begins only when you complete a checkout yourself. Prices are stated in U.S. dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply.
You may cancel at any time. On cancellation, access continues until the end of the billing period already paid for, and no further charge is made. Payments already made are not refunded on a pro-rata basis unless required by applicable law.
If a payment fails, access to paid features may be suspended until payment succeeds. LandedIQ may change the subscription price with reasonable notice before the change takes effect for an existing subscriber.
6. Data sources and coverage
LandedIQ uses official tariff publications and an effective-date program ledger, but not every duty type or regulatory obligation is fully machine-resolvable. Specific or compound duties, narrative scopes, exclusions, antidumping and countervailing duties, quotas and product-specific agency rules may require separate review. Current sources and limitations are described in the Methodology.
7. Data corrections
You may report a suspected data issue to support@landediq.app. We may review and update beta data, but a correction request does not create a binding customs determination or guarantee that a particular classification or rate will be accepted by an authority.
8. Availability and changes
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, security, government-data updates or technical failures. During validation, access may be limited, modified or discontinued. We may change features or data coverage as the product develops.
9. Prohibited use
You may not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access controls, extract data at a rate that harms availability, reverse engineer protected components, submit unlawful content or use LandedIQ to misrepresent customs information.
10. Intellectual property
The LandedIQ software, interface, branding, calculation presentation and original content are owned by or licensed to MTL Co., Ltd. Government tariff materials and other public records remain subject to their respective terms and public-status rules.
11. Disclaimer and limitation
The service is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee that every rate, classification, program, exclusion or estimate is complete or suitable for a particular transaction. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MTL Co., Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from reliance on estimates or interruption of the service.
12. Account suspension
We may suspend or terminate access where necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address misuse or resolve security risk. You may stop using the service at any time.
