LandedIQ connects the parts of importing that are usually separated: HTS classification, tariff programs, freight allocation, landed cost, margin and selling-price decisions.
LandedIQ is developed and operated by MTL Co., Ltd., an international freight-forwarding and logistics company. The product grew from practical cross-border shipment and cost workflows where a duty percentage alone was not enough: importers needed to see how the rate affected true unit cost, margin and selling price.
Practical logistics experience
The workflow is designed around product lists, origins, shipment costs, freight allocation, customs-related charges and SKU-level margin decisions.
Transparent calculations
Base MFN duty, additional tariff programs, fees, freight and margin logic are shown separately so users can audit the result.
Effective-date awareness
Tariff treatment is evaluated using HTS code, country of origin and selected effective date instead of assuming that today’s rate always applied.
Why we built it
Import data is abundant. Decision-ready answers are not.
Official schedules and tariff actions contain the underlying rules, but importers still have to connect those rules to product costs, logistics expenses, channel fees and target margin. LandedIQ turns those separate inputs into one reviewable workflow.
It is not a replacement for a licensed customs broker, attorney or tax adviser. It is a working tool for identifying duty layers, testing landed-cost scenarios and finding the issues that require professional confirmation.
